This is a 160-hour Emergency Medical Technician Course. Students will demonstrate proficiency, knowledge and skills ability in victim assessment, recognition, and treatment of medical emergencies and other basic life support procedures. Includes observation experience in hospitals, emergency rooms or other sites. Provides the necessary training to become state or nationally registered as an EMT I, which is optional.
Course Completion Requirements: Successful completion of this course requires adherence to course policies, maintaining a minimum score of 70% on the course final examination, and successfully demonstrating all required skills.
Course Attendance Policy: Student attendance is required at all scheduled classes.
Lodging & Meals: Lodging and meals not provided, but local camping areas and hotel information will be provided upon request or registration.
