This,  (Intermediate) Level 40-hour Method of Instruction course, covers the advanced concepts of communication, psychology of learning, techniques of instruction, use of instructional aids, preparation, and use of lesson plans, preparing and administering tests, teaching resources and motivation to include conversations on other instructional dynamics. Below are the minimum requirements for a person to become certified at the second level of progression

 

Students will demonstrate knowledge and ability to develop individual lesson plans for a specific topic including learning objectives, instructional aids, and evaluation instruments; schedule training sessions based on overall training plan of authority having jurisdiction; and supervise and coordinate the activities of other instructors.

 

Course Completion Requirements: Successful completion of this course requires adherence to course policies, maintaining a minimum score of 70% on the course final examination, and successfully demonstrating all required skills.

Course Attendance Policy: Student attendance is required at all scheduled classes.

 

Lodging & Meals: Lodging and meals not provided, but local camping areas and hotel information will be provided upon request or registration.
